A.01 · Project Description

A two-truck sheet-metal shop. The owner is on every job.

V.G. Mechanical Services has been fabricating ductwork and installing residential furnaces, gas appliances, and light-commercial HVAC out of Winnipeg since 2021. The shop is small on purpose. The work is custom on purpose. No subcontracted crews, no sales reps; you call, the owner picks up.

Trunks and runs are bent in the shop, brought to site, scribed to fit the framing and the joists that are actually there. If a furnace install needs a transition that no big-box manufacturer makes, we make it. That is what the sheet-metal trade is supposed to be.

The shop is listed in the Manitoba Hydro Customer Equipment Problem Program (CEPP) for diagnostic work on residential heating issues, and runs gas-fitter qualified for installs and repairs on natural-gas appliances.

Every line below is something the shop has actually built or installed in Winnipeg in the last twelve months. If the job you need is not on this list, ring the shop and ask; if it is sheet metal or gas, the answer is usually yes.

All seams mastic-sealed, hangers spaced to code, tin-snip cuts deburred so airflow is what the duct calc says it is.

Permit and inspection

Gas work permitted with the City of Winnipeg / Manitoba Hydro. Inspector signs off before we close it up.
